Our receptions will notify you in advance if your physician is delayed due to an emergency and attempt to change your appointment time. Calling the Office
You are encouraged to call the office should you have any questions regarding your medical condition, prescribed medication or post-operative recovery. We will return all messages at the earliest possible moment.
For lab results and imaging reports, please call the office the day after your tests. Pathology reports are usually available 2 to 3 days after a surgical procedure. Prescriptions will be filled only during business hours by our nurse. After hours, no pain medication will be filled by the on-call doctor.
Fees and Insurance
We are concerned about rising healthcare costs and make every effort to control your medical costs without sacrificing quality of care. If you need assistance with your bill, our business office can arrange a workable payment plan with you. For your convenience we also accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We participate with many healthcare plans and insurances as well as Medicare. Not all participating physicians’ names get printed in provider directories from health insurance plans, so please feel free to call us and see if we participate with your plan.
Billing and Payment Policy
As a courtesy to our patients, we will file the necessary insurance claims for office visits and surgical procedures performed in our office as well as the hospital. The patient is required, however, to pay any co-insurance or deductible under their plan. Patients with an HMO or PPO insurance plan are responsible for obtaining the proper referral from their Primary Care Physician.
If you do not have insurance coverage, payment is due at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made.
Should it become necessary for this office or any of the physicians to pursue collection of this account, you are notified that you will be responsible for all costs associated with the collection of this account, including but not limited to all court costs and reasonable attorney fees.
